Our support

The International Office would like to support you so that you can successfully master your studies and feel right at home here at Bingen Technical University of Applied Sciences. We offer a number of events designed for this purpose, and would be happy if you took advantage of these opportunities! If you have any individual problems, please contact us via email: international[at]th-bingen.de. If we cannot help you ourselves, we will be happy to put you in touch with the right persons.

Orientation week

Before the semester begins, the International Office organises an orientation week. This orientation is intended for students in the Study Semester programme so that they can find their way around everyday life as a student in Germany. The programme is compulsory and will be sent by e-mail.

International lunch break

International Lunch Break takes place several times during the semester at the AStA premises during lunchtime. International students cook traditional dishes and delicacies at the university to present their home countries. Here you will find true culinary variety and a great opportunity to get in touch with international students or students with an international interest. To participate, please read the news and notices at the university which will inform you about the dates beforehand.

German classes

The International Office of Bingen UAS regularly offers German courses for its international students in cooperation with the adult education centre Volkshochschule Bingen. Language proficiency is of fundamental importance for the success of your studies. The acquisition of such language proficiency does not end with the passing of the DSH or TestDaF exam. On the contrary, it should be continued throughout your studies. The better your knowledge of German, the easier it will be for you to study.

The courses are offered exclusively for international students registered at Bingen UAS and are free of charge.

Please note: Bingen UAS does not offer DSH preparation courses or exams for applicants.
