Universidade Regional de Blumenau

FURB is the first university in the state of Santa Catarina and was founded in 1964 with the aim of providing broad access to higher education.
It is located in the interior of Santa Catarina and has approximately 10,000 students and 49 undergraduate programmes. One of the largest libraries in southern Brazil is located on campus.
