Would you like to learn German in a course with fixed lesson times and one-to-one support? Various institutions offer German language courses for different language levels and learning objectives.
Volkshochschulen (VHS)
Volkshochschulen are Adult Education Centres and offer German courses at different levels and in various formats. You can use the nationwide VHS course finder to search for suitable courses in your area, as well as online and hybrid options. The courses are organised by the respective Adult Education Centres. Goethe-Institut
The Goethe-Institut offers German courses from A1 to C2, both in person and online. Depending on the location and programme, there are, for example, intensive, evening, weekend and online courses. The courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Private Language Schools
Private language schools also offer German courses at various levels. Course formats vary depending on the language school. You can obtain information on course offerings, dates and fees directly from the respective language schools.

vhs learning portal
With the vhs learning portal, you can learn German independently and free of charge. There are several courses available at different levels. You can find the range of courses here.
Goethe-Institut
The Goethe-Institut also provides free German exercises. You can choose your exercises according to your level. You also have the option of testing your German skills beforehand.
