Through the Stipendienstiftung (Scholarship Foundation), the State of Rhineland-Palatinate – and in particular the Ministry of Science, Education and Health (MWWG) – supports science and research at the state’s universities.

Bingen University of Applied Sciences awards grants from the Stipendienstiftung Rheinland-Pfalz to students, PhD candidates and early-career researchers for the following purposes:

• Support for talented students who demonstrate exceptional social commitment (voluntary work).
• Support for single-parent students or early-career researchers.
• Support for gifted outgoing students.
• Support for students and early-career researchers in times of social hardship (emergency support).
